How much does Future Storage cost?

Where is the Future Storage service area?

All container moves, full or empty, within a 45-kilometre radius of Hamilton are charged our core $150 delivery flat rate. This includes all of Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Caledonia, Smithville, Burlington, Waterdown, Flamborough, Carlisle, Puslinch, Lincoln, Oakville, Milton, Hagersville, Grimsby, Beamsville, Cayuga, and most of Mississauga, Brantford, and St. Catharines.

All container moves between 46-65 kilometres from Hamilton are charged our extended $195 delivery flat rate. This includes Niagara Falls, Welland, Port Colborne, Port Dover, Simcoe, Cambridge, Guelph, Brampton, west Toronto, and most of Kitchener.

What fits in an 8' x 16' Container?

You can ideally fit up to a 3 bedroom house into our Future Storage 8’ x 16’ container.

How long can I keep the container at my house?

Once we drop your container off, you can take your time packing it up. Unlike rental trucks, there won't be any kind of rush to load your storage container. So, take a week, a month, or however long you need. We won't mind.

Do you have a place to store my container?

Yes, we have a secure yard that we can store the container and contents. If you have an unexpected delay moving, home remodel/construction, or purchase/sale of your home we can help.

How soon can a container be delivered?

We try to have your storage container delivered within 24 hours (except Sunday or holidays) or your first month is free!

How does pricing work?

There is a monthly rental fee with your Future Storage container, which bills monthly on the date your container is delivered.

Does Future Storage insure my belongings?

No. All property is stored at the customer’s sole risk, whether at the customer’s property, at the Future Storage yard, or during over-the-road transport. Note that most home insurance policies offer protection for stored goods, but it is the customer’s responsibility to confirm with their insurer(s).

Can I access my container?

This is the beauty of portable storage: the container on your property is yours to access any time you like. If your container is stored at the Future Storage yard, you can access it by appointment (call: 289-638-8873 or email: boxme@futurestorage.ca). Appointments can be made with 24 hours’ notice to us, usually fewer. Sunday and holiday appointments may not be available, but we are a family business, and we will try to help you as best as can.

The Future Storage yard is in Caledonia, Ontario, 10 minutes south of Hamilton. It is secure and monitored 24/7/365.
